We’re getting very close to releasing the build of the first Shatterlight level — it should be ready any day now. This is our first test level: the attic, a constant sense of unease, arachnophobia, and an initial introduction to how the game works and how it scares the player.
At the same time, we’ve already started working on the second level, which will be fundamentally different in tone. It will be more colorful, more action-driven, and richer in narrative. This is Vera’s level — with living dolls, children’s laughter echoing through empty corridors, and a constant feeling that something alive is always nearby.
Shown below is Punch, a character from the puppet theater, where a strange and unsettling performance with living dolls takes place.
